Frances P. Markulakis, 81, of Litchfield died at 6:50 a.m. Sunday, April 12, 2015, at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield.
Private family services will be held. Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Markulakis was born on Dec. 27, 1933, in Caldwell, MO, the daughter of the late William and Mary (Whittenburg) Ivey. She married George Markulakis, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 12, 1995.
She was an LPN for St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield. She was also a laborer for International Paper.
Mrs. Markulakis is survived by her children, David Young of Hillsboro, Carla Edwards and Paul Young, both of Litchfield, Mark (Debra) Young of Leroy, George (Jenifer) Markulakis, Marcia Robinson, Mary (William) Werries and Bradley Markulakis, all of Litchfield; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Young of Litchfield; and brother, William Ivey of Gillespie.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jack Ivey, Doyle Ivey and Gerald Ivey; and sister, Clara Bisans.
