Freda Marie Kieslar, 80, of Hillsboro, died on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2020, at 10:10 a.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
No services will be held. Cremation rites were accorded. Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro is assisting the family.
Mrs. Kieslar was born Dec. 12, 1939, in Litchfield, to Edgar and Mildred (Hamilton) Weller. She married James Kieslar on June 22, 1957, in Litchfield, and he preceded her in death on April 2, 2008.
During her career, she worked as a Fashion Lane manager and worked in retail sales.
Mrs. Kieslar resided in the Litchfield, Carlinville and Hillsboro areas throughout her lifetime.
She is survived by her children, Vanessa Light of Hillsboro and Jammie Hobbs of Springfield; grandchildren, Nathan Light and Nancy Light; and two brothers, Harry Weller of Litchfield and Marvin Weller of Missouri.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Kieslar was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers; and four sisters.
