Fuzell L. "Fuzzy" Roston, 55, of Edwardsville, died Friday, April 12, 2019, at 3:40 a.m. at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 22, at New Northside Baptist Church in St. Louis, MO, with Pastor William Martin, Jr. officiating. 

Graveside services were held Tuesday, April 23, at Benld Cemetery in Benld. Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Roston was born Feb. 21, 1964, in St. Louis, MO, to Fuzell and Annie (Jumper) Roston. He married Amber (Garst) Roston on Dec. 17, 2010, in Edwardsville, and she survives. A server at Chili's, he was an avid fan of the Mizzou Tigers' football team. He was an organ donation advocate. On April 19, 2016, he was a double lung recipient.

In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by children, Fuzell Anthony Roston, stationed in Honolulu, HI, Stephen Curtiss White of Litchfield, Jared Allen White of Camp Pendleton, San Diego, CA, and Nathan Alvin White of Litchfield; sister, Marketter Roston (spouse Kevin Bishop) of Florissant, MO; best friend of 43 years, Anthony D. Griffin of Hazelwood, MO; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Candy and Alvin Garst of Eagarville; two Maltese furbabies, Maddie (Lovely) and Lucky; aunts, Luberta Rochelle and Melva Williams; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Bernice Jumper.
