Gary L. Lehnen, 75, of Irving, died at 11:43 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2019 at Montgomery Rehab and Healthcare in Taylor Springs.
Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 29, at the cemetery. Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Witt is in charge of arrangements.
The son of Albert F. and Frances (Niehaus) Lehnen, he was born on June 26,1944, in Hillsboro,. He married Paula Yeske on Aug. 20, 1988, in Irving, and she survives. He had worked for the Hillsboro Water Department for many years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Rodney (Chrissy) Lehnen of Pana, Terry (Kayla) Lehnen of Chatham, and Brian Lehnen of Witt; siblings Dwight (Carolyn) Niehaus of Nokomis, Marilyn (Floyd) Taylor of Irving, and Nancy (Ronnie) Merriman of Hillsboro; grandchildren Morgan, Page, Jamin and Madi Lehnen, Alayna and Jaelyn Myers, Natalee Lehnen, Derrick Koehne, Jarrad Bockewitz, Shelby and Kaylee Durbin, Heather Segrest and Heath Lehnen; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Kim Durbin.
