Gena R. Kleinik, 47, of Taylor Springs, died on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020, at 7:25 p.m. at Hillsboro Area Hospital.
Cremation rites were accorded and a memorial gathering will be held at a later date. Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro assisted the family.
Ms. Kleinik was born July 3, 1973, in Litchfield, to John Hancock and Janey Kleinik.
She attended Hillsboro High School, and went on to work in child care. During her lifetime, she resided in Hillsboro and Taylor Springs.
Ms. Kleinik is survived by her children, Trishia Hampton, Tristine Hampton and Tyler Hampton; three grandchildren, Janey Youtz, Lucas Youtz and Kevin Youtz; and seven siblings, Debra Thompson, Tom Hancock, John Hancock, Randy Hancock, Sandy Taylor, Terry Hancock and Glenna Hancock.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
