George Allen DeWitt, 75, of Moreland, KY, died on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019, at his home.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29, at Litchfield Family Funeral Service. A reception will follow at Litchfield Moose Lodge.
Mr. DeWitt was born on May 23, 1944, in Litchfield, to Herschel LeRoy and Margaret May DeWitt. He and his wife, Judy, were married for 54 years.
Mr. DeWitt is survived by his wife; son, Kevin Allen (Pamela) DeWitt of Midlothian, VA; granddaughters, Riley and Emily DeWitt both of Midlothian, VA; siblings, Herschel DeWitt of Butler, Edwin DeWitt of Witt, Archie DeWitt, Dennis DeWitt, Margaret Pritchett and Barbara Clark, all of Litchfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Vernon DeWitt and Melvin DeWitt (lost in infancy); and sisters, Hazel Hefley and Beverly Goacher.
