George Raymond Allen II, 47, of Nokomis, died on Monday Sept. 23, 2019, at Christian Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday Sept. 28, at Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home, in Nokomis with visitation from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral Home. Burial will be in Nokomis Cemetery
The son of George Raymond Allen and Irene Emerson Allen, Mr. Allen was born on June 20, 1972, in Pekin. He married Yvette Hays July 9, 2011; they had been together 28 years and she survives.
He is also survived by his mother in Nokomis; a son, George Raymond Allen III of Alton; a stepdaughter, Megan Hays (fiance Zach Taylor) of Nokomis; grandchildren Leah Rose Allen, Gregory Chadwick, Carson Chadwick, Aaron Chadwick, Mitchell Brown and Myla Brown; and a brother Barry (Kimberly) Allen of Greentown, IN.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Mr. Allen was the owner operator of Allen's Tire Service in Nokomis, a Christian, a member of the Nokomis Fire Department and a member of South Fork Dirt Riders.
