Grace Elizabeth "Aunt Grace" Holden, 79, of Litchfield, died on Friday, May 25, 2018, at 2:27 p.m. at HSHS St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield.

Graveside memorial services will be held Monday, June 4, beginning at 6 p.m. at Crabtree Cemetery in rural Litchfield with the Rev. Oley Lawson of Walshville officiating. Family and friends will line up at 5:45 p.m. at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield to go in procession to the cemetery.

Mrs. Holden was born on Aug. 28, 1938, in Litchfield, to Roy Orin and Myron Edna (Cloud) Reener. She married James Albert Pruitt, and he preceded her in death. She later married Leonard LaVern Holden, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 12, 2017.

She was a homemaker, and enjoyed cooking and feeding her family and guests. She worked at HSHS St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield in her early years and Heritage Manor in Gillespie as a CNA.

Mrs. Holden enjoyed living in the country with her husband Leonard, and loved taking care of her animals, especially her cats.

She is survived by a son, Gary (Jan) Pruitt of Litchfield; two stepsons, Mike (Jeanne) Holden of Witt and Steve Holden of Litchfield; two brothers, Ivan "Gene" Reener of Butler and Ronald (Lynn) Reener of Litchfield; a grandson, Scott (companion Allie Zajda) Pruitt; one stepgranddaughter, Michelle (Bret) Reeves; and two stepgreat-grandchildren, Alli and Nate Reeves.

In addition to her husbands, Mrs. Holden was preceded in death by two brothers, James "Bud" Reener and Roy L. Reener; and two sisters, Edna Reener and Leeta Crawford.
