Gregory “Greg” L. Westbrook, 63, of Hillsboro, died July 12, 2023, at his residence.
A visitation will be held at Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro on Monday, July 17, at 11 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 12 p.m. Burial will be in Elm Lawn Cemetery in Litchfield.
Mr. Westbrook was born on Nov. 1, 1959, in Hillsboro to James and Dorothy (Luck) Westbrook. He married Juanita Marie Hamby on March 21, 1981, and she survives.
He was a graduate of Hillsboro High School and worked at Worksaver in Litchfield. He loved playing with his grandchildren and enjoyed all sports, including football and golf. He loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals, and his passion was playing softball on the Coffeen Roadrunners team.
Along with his wife, Mr. Westbrook is survived by his mother, Dorothy Westbrook of Chatham; two children, Cha Hamby of Hillsboro and Scott (Melissa) Westbrook of Chatham; four grandchildren, Brooke M. Davidson, Kennedy L. Scroggins, Lexie Westbrook and Jacob Westbrook; and one brother, Ritchie Westbrook of Chatham.
He was preceded in death by his father.
