Guinn, Boston Lead LHS To Third At Viper Invite

Two Montgomery County teams were among the eight competing for the top spot in the Lady Viper Invite at Terry Park Golf Course on Saturday, Sept. 12.

Hosted by South County, the Waverly-Franklin co-op, the nine-hole tournament was won by Auburn with a 184, while Williamsville was second with a 188.

Litchfield would finish tied for third on the day with a 205, with two players in the top ten individually. Carly Guinn would be sixth overall with a 44, while Laura Boston was one spot behind her teammate with a 46.

Lincolnwood would join the Purple Panthers at the tournament and finished seventh with a 216. Full results from both teams will be in Thursday’s Journal-News.
