Florence (Mazenko) Hopper, 91, died on Sept. 22, 2018. Harry Hopper, 89, died on July 14, 2019.
A ceremony for the couple will be held on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery in Litchfield. Celebrations of Life for the Hoppers were conducted at St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church in Roswell, GA. Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield is assisting the family with local arrangements.
Florence and Harry grew up in Litchfield and Staunton, respectively. In recent years they enjoyed their residence at St. George Village in Roswell, GA.
The couple was regarded as beacons of light and love for one another and for their family and friends throughout their 67 years of marriage. Their careers and a love for travel gave them the opportunity to experience the four corners of the globe. Gardening, birding and learning were favorite hobbies of the couple. The Hoppers found their faith in God to be a constant source of strength and inspiration.
Mr. and Mrs. Hopper are survived by a son, Thomas Hopper.
They were preceded in death by a son, Harry E. Hopper, Jr.
