Helen Evelyn (Morrison) Valentine, 102, of Pana, formerly of Panama City, FL, and the Rosamond area, died on Friday, April 19, 2019, at 4:20 p.m. at Heritage Health: Therapy and Senior Care in Pana.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday, April 26, beginning at 11 a.m. in Rosamond Grove Cemetery in Rosamond. Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Valentine was born April 6, 1917, in Oconee, to William and Stella (Pierpoint) Morrison. She married Charles Bowersock, and he preceded her in death. She later married William "Bill" Valentine, and he also preceded her in death.
She graduated high school and belonged to the Methodist faith.
Mrs. Valentine was a member of the Eastern Star, Home Extension, Senior Citizens Club, and served as a 4H leader.
She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Bowman of Panama City, FL, and Stella (Lee) Oltmanns of Nokomis; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husbands, Mrs. Valentine was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Bernice Abrams; and brothers, Frank, Bill, Harry, Carol, Don and Bob Morrison.
