Helen L. Pipkin, 84, of Waggoner, died on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021, at Carlinville Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Funeral services and burial will be held at a later date. Hough Funeral Home in Raymond is assisting the family.

Mrs. Pipkin was born Jan. 27, 1937, in Springfield, to Eugene and Mildred Louise (Heaton) Couturiaux. She married Charles R. Pipkin on Jan. 16, 1963, and he preceded her in death on March 31, 2013.

During her career, she served as a CNA. She was a member of the Waggoner Christian Church.

Mrs. Pipkin is survived by her sons, Carl (wife Tammy) Lindgren, Lennie Lindgren, both of Nortonville, Robert (wife Debbie) Pipkin of Atwater, Richard (wife Brenda) Pipkin of Nilwood and Steve Pipkin of Waggoner; sister, Jennet Barnard; brother, Henry Couturiaux; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Eugene Couturiaux, who was killed in Vietnam.
