Henry Frederick Fritz Mollet, age 84, of Salem, IN, died on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023, at Salem Crossing.
Cremation rites were accorded, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Weathers Funeral Home in Salem, IN, is assisting the family.
Mr. Mollet was born Sept. 4, 1939, in Pocahontas, the son of Henry Lewis Mollet and Fern Mary (Landolt) Mollet.
A retired butcher, he was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Paoli.
Survivors include his wife, Mathilda Cora “Tillie” (Zielsdorf) Mollet of Salem; four sons, Lonnie Mollet of Casey and Darrell Mollet, Glen Mollet and Darrin Mollet all of Salem, IN; a brother, Mike Mollet of Sorento; a sister, Wilma Holcmann of Sorento; nine grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 16 step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Steven Mollet; a brother, Jerry Mollet; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
