Central Park Pool in Hillsboro will open for the season on Sunday, May 26. The public pool is open seven days a week, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting.
Rates to enter the pool are $3 per person, per day. Entrance is free to those three years old and under and those 55 years old and over.
Regular swimmers may be interested in purchasing a season pass. Individual passes are $75 per person and family passes, for up to five members, are $160. Season passes may be purchased at Hillsboro City Hall during regular business hours.
In addition to regularly held hours, the Central Park Pool may be booked for private parties in the evenings. Rentals are available from 6 to 8 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Party fees start at $120 and must be booked through Hillsboro City Hall.
Central Park Pool also offers swim lessons for children ages five and up. Group lessons will be held Monday, June 3 through Friday, June 7, from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. The cost to attend is $30 per child and $15 for each additional sibling. If there is enough interest Central Park Pool will offer additional lessons beginning Monday, June 10 through Friday, June 14, from 5 to 5:45 p.m. Private lessons are also available.
