Isabel M. Abell, 98, of Litchfield, died Monday, Nov. 11, 2019, at HSHS St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, Nov. 16, at 2 p.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery in Litchfield with Deacon Sean Caveny officiating. Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Abell was born May 26, 1921, in Coffeen, to Homer and Mary (Roberts) Chumley. She married Joe Abell, and he preceded her in death in 1970.
She is survived by two nephews, Larry Martin and Gary Martin, both of Litchfield; and two nieces, Carol Ogle of Peoria and Ellen Chumley of Litchfield.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Harry Chumley; and three sisters, Hazel Warf, Mable Booher and Grace Martin.
