Jackie Harry Hickey, 90, of Benld, died at 6:25 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6, 2020, at St. Louis University Medical Center in St. Louis, MO.
No public services are scheduled to be held. Kravanya Funeral Home in Benld is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Hickey was born on Feb. 9, 1930, in Chicago, to Harry Hickey and Mary (Bevlo) Hickey. He was a veteran of the US Army, who served during Korea.
He was retired from United Community Bank (UCB) after having been an executive vice-president loan officer and working with Metropolitan Life. Mr. Hickey was a member of the OWLS and the Croation Fraternal Union of America. He enjoyed sports.
Mr. Hickey is survived by his children, Michael Hickey of Gillespie, Patrick Hickey of Benld and Bonnie Smith of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Tessa Ehlan, Skylar Cavallo, Dustin Hickey, Atticus Hickey, Jacob Smith, Cody Smith and Joseph Jennings; and great-grandchild, Calen Hickey.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
