James “Jim” Bankler Dunn, 88, of Sebring, FL, died at his home on Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021.
He was born on Dec. 28, 1932 in Hillsboro, the son of Lewis Bankler and Bertha (Harrison) Dunn. He attended Winhold Grade School and graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1951. He also attended Millikin University in Decatur.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Dunn of Sebring, FL; his children, Jeffrey Dunn and Jennifer Dunn, both of Hillsboro, and Jamee (husband Dwayne) Francisco of Lexington, KY; step-daughter Juli (husband Rodney) Shipman of Hillsboro; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Burial to be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro. A private family service is planned at a later date.
Memorials can be directed to the Hillsboro Public Library or the Central Park Pool project.
