James "JD" M. Davidson, 64, of Standard City, died on Monday, Dec. 30, 2019, in Springfield.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Jan. 4, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Funeral services will follow, beginning at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Davidson was born Nov. 15, 1955, in Hillsboro, to James and Jo Anne (Miller) Davidson. He married Barb Woolard, and they later divorced.
During his career, he served as a truck driver, as well as a boilermaker.
Mr. Davidson is survived by a daughter, Brandi (Jeremy) Varner of Kentucky; one son, Kevin (Lindsey) Davidson of Butler; four grandchildren, Brooke, Kennedy, Cheyanne and Kylem; a brother, Michael Dean (Kim) Davidson of Hillsboro; and three sisters, Cathy (Milo) Price of Staunton, Brenda (Willie) Price of Gillespie and Lisa (Jim) Miller of Hillsboro.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Bobby Davidson; and a sister, Missy Street.
