James R. Jones, 92, of Wilsonville, died at 6:15 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025, at his residence.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, Jan. 10, at the Progressive Club in Wilsonville, from 12 to 2 p.m., with a 12:30 p.m. military honors service.
Mr. Jones was born June 2, 1933, in Wilsonville to Edward John Jones and Gwendolyn Thomas Jones. He married Mary Hantla Jones on Feb. 9, 1957, at the Pleasant Hill Church in Raymond.
Mr. Jones was a head supervisor for Olin Brass Manufacturer. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. He was a member of the CFU Lodge 217. He coached Little League. Mr. Jones enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Mr. Jones is survived by his daughter, Tena M. Cerentano of Wilsonville; grandchildren, Cari (Jeff) Fleming of Staunton, Larissa (Adam) Neighbors of Auburn, and Andrew Edmonds, Jr. of Sarasota, FL; and great-grandchildren, Emilie, Sean, and Marley Fleming, Madison, Nolan, and Delaney Neighbors, and Mason, Reagan, Tyson and Cody Cerentano.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents; spouse; daughter, Tammy Edmonds; grandson, Cody Cerentano; and siblings, Ruth Williams, Gwen Molinar, Gladys Molinar, Bill Jones and Edward Jones.
