James Thomas Brown, Sr., 80, of Litchfield, died on Sunday, Aug. 9, 2020, at 3:39 a.m. at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
Arrangements are pending at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. A full obituary will be featured in Thursday’s edition of The Journal-News.
Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Charlene (Perrine) Fairless Brown; two sons, James T. (Karen) Brown, Jr. of Cape Coral, FL, and Michael (Candice) Brown of Litchfield; two daughters, Sherry (Larry) Boehme of New Bern, NC, and Patti (Vernon) Thrasher of Litchfield; stepdaughter, Terri (Chris) Costley of Litchfield; and stepson/grandson, Austin Fairless.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marion J. Hampton.
