Janice Kay Bergman, 55, of Hillsboro, died on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at 4:18 p.m. at her residence.
Cremation rites were accorded. Due to social distancing guidelines that prohibit public gatherings, no services are planned at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro is assisting the family.
Ms. Bergman was born March 19, 1965, in Hillsboro, to Marvin “Jake” and Virginia Ione (Davidson) Bergman.
She attended Hillsboro High School. During her career, she worked at Shell Gas Station, Casey’s and served as a bartender. Throughout her life, she resided in Irving and Hillsboro.
Ms. Bergman is survived by her son, Russell (fiancee Daisy Powderly) Baker of Hillsboro; daughter, Brandi Baker of Hillsboro; granddaughter, Nevaeh Powderly of Hillsboro; and siblings, James (wife Helen) Bergman of Waltonville, Dale Bergman of Cahokia, Diana Bergman of Hillsboro and Maxine Robinson of Green River, WY.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Robert “Bob” Bergman, Donald B. Bergman, Gary Joe Bergman and Marvin Bergman in infancy.
