Janie Sue (Gerdes) Kaduk, 64, of Mt. Olive, died Thursday, Dec. 17, in her home.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 22, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Mt. Olive with Pastor James Ritter officiating. Burial was held in Chapman Cemetery in Mt. Olive. Becker and Son Funeral Home in Mt. Olive was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Kaduk was born Aug. 18, 1956, in Livingston, to the late Henry (Hank) L. and Betty June (Jones) Gerdes. She married Jeff Kaduk on July 13, 1974, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Mt. Olive, and he survives.

She attended Mt. Olive schools. She enjoyed the food service industry, and was employed by Maverick restaurant in Litchfield, where she loved working with people. She also had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed gardening and fishing, but her greatest love was her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by son, Phillip (Megan) Kaduk; daughter, Paula (Jimmy) Cox; and five grandchildren, Kaylee, Joie and Addison Cox, and Eve and Dez Kaduk, all of Gillespie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, David and Robert Gerdes, and a nephew, Christopher Davis.
