Jarrod Ryan Kilduff, 33, of Staunton, formerly of Mt. Olive, died on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at 9:45 p.m. in Chicago.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 23, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Mt. Olive. Funeral services will follow, beginning at 11 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Ben Fiore officiating. 

Burial will take place at Mt. Olive City Cemetery. A luncheon will be provided for family and friends in the Zion Fellowship Hall following the burial.

Mr. Kilduff was born Oct. 15, 1984, in Litchfield, to Randy Lee Kilduff and Lisa Lynn Henschen.

He attended grade school in Staunton and Mt. Olive and high school in Mt. Olive, and was employed by Schutt Manufacturing in Litchfield.

Mr. Kilduff was baptized at Zion Lutheran Church in Mt. Olive and was confirmed on March 28, 1999.

He had a great love for his family and a big heart that led him to do anything for anyone if he was able. He also had a great sense of humor and an infectious smile that would melt the hearts of those surrounded by him.

Mr. Kilduff enjoyed sports and was a St. Louis Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys fan. He also enjoyed sketching and was very creative and good at freehand drawing. He often made his own personalized cards for family.

He did not have any children of his own, but had a never-ending love for his nephew, Dylon, as if he were his own.

Mr. Kilduff could always be found saying, "Don't worry about me, I'll be alright and I love you all," and will be forever missed by those who loved him deeply.

He is survived by his mother, Lisa (husband Ben) Pfeiffer of Staunton; father, Randy (wife Diana) Kilduff of Maryland Heights, MO; four brothers, Adam (companion Julie Striplin) Kilduff of Gillespie, Gabe (wife Cara) Dexheimer of Mt. Olive, Nathan (companion Meredith Lea) Pfeiffer of White City and Daniel Dexheimer of Litchfield; two sisters, Lacey (fiance Mike Vogel) Pfeiffer of Gillespie and Gretchen (companion Randy Aubuschon) Pfeiffer of Mt. Olive; and two grandmothers, Carol Henschen and Doris Schmidt, both of Staunton.

Mr. Kilduff was preceded in death by two grandfathers, John Henschen and Roy Kilduff; and two grandmothers, Sharon Henschen Kirbach and Margaret Pfeiffer.
