Jean Ann Sennezy, 93, of Galesburg, died on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2026, at OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation will be accorded. Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Sennezy was born on Feb. 9. 1933, in Pembroke, KY, the daughter of Charles and Tennessee “Tennie” (Meacham) Hoffman. On March 7, 1958, she married George L. Sennezy in Taylorville. The couple shared their lives together until his passing on Jan. 24, 2018.
She leaves behind a loving family who will miss her dearly. She is survived by her children, Vicki Marie (Charles) Schloz of Longmont, CO, Kay Renee (Gary) Eitel of Pueblo, CO, John David Sennezy of Galesburg and Cynthia Sennezy of Chicago; grandchildren, Rebecca Beyer, Rudy Schloz, John D. Sennezy II, Sarah Eitel, Hannah Eitel and Robert Eitel; great-grandchildren, Andrew Beyer, Christopher Beyer and Sage Eitel; and sisters, Viola Rollo of Largo, FL, and Marsha Hudson of Nokomis.
Mrs. Sennezy was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Tennie Hoffman; husband, George; and brothers, Albert, Philip and Ronald.
Her 93 years were filled with the people and relationships that made up her life. Her memory will live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters and all those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
