Jean Lehman, 97, of Nokomis, died at 7:20 a.m. on  Thursday, Aug. 27, 2020, at Nokomis Rehab and Healthcare.

Private family funeral services will be held on Sunday, Aug. 30, at Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis. Stiehl Dawson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mrs. Lehman was born on June 6, 1923, in Nokomis, to the late Charles O. and Margaret (Wentz) Miller. She married Cletus Lehman on May 2, 1951, in Nokomis, he preceded her in death on Jan. 25, 2016, after 64 years of marriage.

Mrs. Lehman was a wife, cook and mother.  She loved visiting with her family and friends.

Mrs. Lehman is survived by her daughters, Patricia (James) Seay of Kansas City, MO, and Bonnie (Harlan) Brown of Raymond; three grandchildren Chad (Samantha) of Farmersville, Todd (Amy) of Raymond and Stacey (Dennis) of Lee’s Summit, MO; two great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn of Raymond and Samantha of Lee’s Summit, MO; great great grandson Landon of Lee’s Summit, MO; and special daughter, Nancy Waterman of Decatur.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and sisters, Shirley Lenzi and Marjorie Benvenuto.
