Jeannette K. Tarro, 70, of Decatur, died Friday, June 7, 2019, at 8:17 p.m. at her residence.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home in Decatur is assisting the family.
Mrs. Tarro was born Oct. 17, 1948, in Litchfield, the daughter of Louis and Lucille M. (Flitz) Wimberly. She married Richard B. Tarro on March 8, 1969, in Benld, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 3, 2018.
A typesetter at Houston Patterson Printers in Decatur, she enjoyed shopping, collecting hedgehogs and loved reading mysteries. She attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Decatur.
She is survived by her brothers, Richard N. (wife Sharon) Wimberly and Robert (wife Beth) Wimberly, both of Litchfield; sisters, Sandra Kiefer of Chatham and Linda L. Wimberly of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, James Kiefer.
