Jesse H. Eaton III, 51, of Granite City, died at 12:55 a.m., on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at his residence.
Private interment will be held at a later date at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Belleville. Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Eaton was born on Oct. 4, 1971, the son of Marsha (Williams) Ponder and the late Jesse H. Eaton II. He married Ashley Woosley on June 24, 2016, in Edwardsville and she survives.
Mr. Eaton was employed as a bread delivery truck driver for Alpha Baking Company out of Chicago.
In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Eaton is survived by his daughters, Lina Eaton of Granite City and Samantha Winkelman of O’Fallon; step-son, Cory Allen of Litchfield; and step-father, Bob Ponder of Granite City.
He was preceded in death by his father and daughter, Alexis.
