Jimmy Lee Lohman, 84, of Hillsboro, died at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, at Montgomery Nursing and Rehab in  Taylor Springs.

Cremation rites were accorded and no services are planned at this time.

Mr. Lohman was born June 4, 1939, in Bond County to Orville and Margery (George) Lohman. He married Sharon Ward, and they later divorced.

A 1957 graduate of Hillsboro High School, he attended college for some time and spent four years in United States Air Force. He worked at Gleichman Plumbing in 1956, and after the Air Force he became a licensed plumber in 1966 and opened his own plumbing business in 1968.

Mr. Lohman was a member of the Waveland Church, 4H, FFA, the Plumbers Local 139 of Springfield and the Antique Tractors Association.

He is survived by his children, Troy Lohman of Butler, Trent (Nikki) Lohman of Nokomis and Trisha Lohman of Breese; six grandchildren, Cody, Brock, Trevor, Tekla, Taylor and Reece Lohman; siblings Bill Lohman of Shelbyville, IN, Susan (Dan) Small of Tennessee and Kenny (Kim) Lohman of Hillsboro.

Mr. Lohman was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Todd Lohman.
