John David Satorius, 73, of Litchfield, died on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
A private family graveside service will be held at Oakland Cemetery in Petersburg. Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg is assisting the family.
Mr. Satorius was born Oct. 3, 1949, in Springfield, to John and Erna (Goans) Satorius.
He worked in the home construction and remodeling business. He enjoyed working on cars and achieved his pilot’s license. He was an animal lover and especially loved dogs.
Mr. Satorius is survived by his daughter, Lori (husband Joe) Basler of Wilmington, NC; grandchildren, Ryan High of Dallas, TX, and Ava Basler of Wilmington, NC; and siblings, Rhonda Satorius and Phil Satorius, both of Springfield, and Larry Satorius of Independence, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
