John G. Eulberg, 69

John Grant Eulberg, 69, of Hillsboro, died on Friday, Dec. 18, 2020, at his residence.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro is assisting the family.

Mr. Eulberg was born Sept. 11, 1951, in Chicago, to Frank and Mickey Galladora. He married Barbara McDonald. He then married Betty (Nockman) Kuhl. He later married Joleen Stutzman, and she preceded him in death. 

He graduated from Vandalia High School. During his career, he worked in construction and served as a bartender. 

Mr. Eulberg was talented and known as a lead singer, playing guitar and bass guitar in local bands, Rockit and Anvil. He enjoyed movies, especially science fiction, bowling and collecting vinyl LPs.

He is survived by his two sons, Cory Eulberg of Sorento and Tim Eulberg of Lincoln, NB; stepdaughter, Jessica Stutzman of Lincoln, NB; grandchildren, Samantha Eulberg and Starr Eulberg; two stepgrandchildren; and brother, Michael Eulberg of Bluff City.

In addition to his wife Joleen, Mr. Eulberg was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Sparky Proyer.
