John Martin Cooper, 69, of Gillespie, died on Saturday, April 24, 2021, at 10:16 p.m. at HSHS St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield.
No public services are planned. Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie is assisting the family.
Mr. Cooper was born July 24, 1951, in Litchfield, to Roy Cooper and Lois Cooper Floyd. He married Patricia Hildebrand, and she survives.
He was retired from Tru Weld Grating in Litchfield, after having served as a material handler.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Cooper is survived by his sons, Ross (Lilia) Cooper and Graham (Terry) Cooper; daughter, Carrie Ferguson; grandchildren, Aubrey, Gaige and Mercie; brothers, David Cooper and Glenn (Tina) Floyd; and father-in-law, Eugene Hildebrand.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Dale Cooper.
