John Thomas Mustain, 63, of Litchfield, died on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 14, 2026, at his home in Litchfield.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Mr. Mustain was born Nov. 14, 1962, in Mexico, MO, a son of Wendell C. Mustain and Mary Jane (Strack) Mustain. He graduated from Centralia High School with the class of 1981.
He worked at Bunn-O-Matic in the sales department. He was an avid fan of the Mizzou Tigers, Kansas City Chiefs and the St. Louis Cardinals. He enjoyed playing golf and excelled at both football and basketball in high school. He was so strong through his illnesses and never lost his personable nature. He could talk to anyone and loved to listen to classic rock.
Mr. Mustain is survived by his twin brother, James (Lori) Mustain of Belleville and brothers, Steve (Jeani) Mustain of Nova Scotia, Canada, Bill (Diana) Mustain of Jefferson City, MO, and Mark (Michelle) Mustain of Columbia, MO; sister, Susan (Greg) Wilson of Independence, MO; as well as several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his dear friend, Kerry Bryant of Litchfield.
Mr. Mustain was preceded in death by his parents.
