John Wayne “Bud” Street, 65, of Hillsboro, formerly of Litchfield, died on Friday, April 10, 2020, at 10:50 p.m. at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Litchfield Family Funeral Service is assisting the family.
Mr. Street was born June 14, 1954, in Litchfield, to Russell and Grace (Sims) Street. He married Jackie Sue Reed on Feb. 28, 1976, in Carlinville, and she survives.
He attended Litchfield schools and served as a car hauler for Jack Cooper Transports based in Wentzville, MO. Until his retirement, he was a union member of the Teamsters Local 604 in St. Louis, MO.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Street is survived by his son, Russell (Lisa) Street of Litchfield; one granddaughter; two stepgrandsons; one stepgranddaughter; and ten stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, David and Ronnie Street.
