Jordan Ray "Stormy" Storm, 28, of Litchfield, died on Sunday, July 22, 2018, at 1:07 p.m.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 26, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, July 27, beginning at 11 a.m. at Harvel Cemetery in Harvel. Following the service, a luncheon will be provided at A Community of Faith Church in Raymond.

Mr. Storm was born Dec. 21, 1989, in Litchfield, to Dennis Wayne and Deborah Kay (Hitchings) Storm.

He graduated from Hillsboro High School with the class of 2008, and obtained his associate's degree from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville.

Mr. Storm was employed as a cook and cashier at Casey's General Store on East Union Avenue in Litchfield, and had recently began working for Schutt Sports Group, also in Litchfield.

He enjoyed skateboarding, hiking, fishing and being outdoors. He participated in the Big Brothers mentoring program and was part of the skateboarding crews, "Hillbilly Bombshell" and "Band of Brothers."

Mr. Storm is survived by his father, Dennis (friend Juanita Durbin) Storm of Hillsboro; mother, Deborah (Dean) Schmidt of Litchfield; three brothers, Joshua Storm of Hillsboro, Travis (Felicia) Stephenson of Mesquite, NV, and Troy (Cinthya) Stephenson of Richmond Hill, GA; a sister, Samantha (Daniel) Brown of Stafford, VA; maternal grandfather, Gene Hitchings of Raymond; paternal grandmother, Jean Storm of Witt; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmothers, Mardelle Brune and Pat Hitchings; and a paternal grandfather, Floyd E. Storm.
