Joshua Eckert, 35, of Hillsboro, died Sunday, Aug. 18, 2019, at his residence.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Hough Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Eckert was born May 9, 1984, to Tammy Bray, and she survives.
He was a chef at area country clubs, and he installed grain bins. He was a member of the Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church in Jacksonville.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Olivia Kemp; and one brother, Bret Bray.
