Joyce Ann Jackson, 84, of Litchfield, died on Thursday, July 18, 2019, at 2:18 a.m. at Heritage Health Therapy and Senior Care in Litchfield.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 20, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, at the funeral home, with Pastor Warren Beatty officiating. Burial will be at Elm Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Jackson was born on Oct. 12, 1934, in Raymond, to Dewey A. and Herod Viola (Goodwin) Beatty. She married Everett Wesley "Wes" Jackson on Aug. 15, 1953, in Raymond. He preceded her in death on July, 20, 2003.
Mrs. Jackson graduated from Lincolnwood High School. She was a member of St. Timothy United Methodist Church in Litchfield. Mrs. Jackson worked as a clerk at Kirlin's Hallmark, formerly in Litchfield. In her leisure time, she enjoyed playing cards, reading and listening to gospel music. She loved to travel and was especially happy when she had all of her grandchildren together.
Mrs. Jackson is survived by three sons, Larry Jackson, Michael (Joanie) Jackson and Terry (Lori) Jackson, all of Litchfield; a son-in-law, Roy Steinmann of Litchfield; eleven grandchildren, Jeremy Jackson, Jennifer (Terry) Friend, Lacy (Dave) Strader, Christopher (Vanessa) Stange, Nick Stange, Tiffany Stange, Trent (Brooke) Steinmann, Stacey (Kristopher) Maxson, Katie (Andy) Anslie, Amber Jackson and Adam (Nina) Jackson; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Linda Steinmann; four brothers, Richard Beatty, Fred Beatty, Lanny Beatty and Norman Goodwin; a sister, Ida Lucille Beatty; and infant granddaughter, Alaine Steinmann.
