Joyce Elaine (Redman) Randle, 95, formerly of Irving, died at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at Montgomery County Nursing and Rehabilitation in Taylor Springs.

Funeral Service will be held at the Hough Dean Funeral Home Friday, June 5, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Randy White officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the start of service.

Mrs. Randle was born on July 20, 1930, in Girard, to Elmer Linus and Susie Mae (Elsperman) Redman. She married Shirley LaMonte Randle July 21, 1950, in Hillsboro, at the Presbyterian Parsonage.

Mrs. Randle was a graduate of Hillsboro High School class of 1948. She was a housewife and day care provider to over 30 children. She was devoted to her family and found immense joy in spending time with her family and grandchildren over the years. She liked to quilt, garden and spend time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Randle was a past member of the Midstate Collector’s club and Irving Home Extension.

Mrs. Randle is survived by her children, Steve Randle, of Springfield, James Randle, of Decatur, David Randle, of Litchfield, Christine (Ed) Huber, of Hillsboro and Richard (Meg) of Makanda; brother,  Gene (Paula) Redman of Highland; grandchildren, Shelly (John) Goodwin of Barrington, Leah (Andy) Gibbs of Edwardsville, Jesse Cerentano of Litchfield,  Josh (Caroline) Randle of Detroit, MI, Caleb (Sydney) Randle, of Sorento, Whitney (Patrick) McSperritt of Butler, Brett (Sarah) Huber of Troy, Jack Randle of Makanda, Dalton King of Irving, and David Mosely of Irving; great-grandchildren, Cole Goodwin, Allie Goodwin, Zackery Gibbs, Willow McSperritt, Edison McSperritt, Jameson McSperritt, Leighton Huber, Colin Huber, Tatum Randle and Ellie Cerentano; and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Randle was preceded by her husband, Shirley; her parents, Elmer and Susie Mae Redman; grandson, Justin Randle; daughter-in-law, Peggy (Williams) Randle; sisters, Doris Sturgeon, June Wiese and Anna Mae Hemken; and brother, Bill Redman.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials in honor of Mrs.Randle be made to the Irving Cemetery or the Illinois Masonic Outreach Services Fund.
