Karen Mae (Fletcher) Mount, 75, of Hillsboro, died on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021, at Hillsboro Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro is assisting the family.
Mrs. Mount was born Sept. 11, 1945, in Litchfield, to Marvel and Carrie (Gurley) Fletcher. She married Fred Law, Sr., and he preceded her in death. She then married James “Jim” Mount, and he preceded her in death.
She worked at a factory in Steelville, and at IGA in Hillsboro in the deli and meat departments.
Mrs. Mount is survived by her daughter, Nancy Jane Law of Jacksonville; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth Fletcher and Delmar Fletcher; one sister, Angela Maguire; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Barbara Martin and Brenda Law; two sons, Fred Law, Jr. and Bobby Lee Law; one granddaughter, Carrie Taylor; and two sisters, Julie Light and Nancy Kloth.
