Kelley G. Durbin, 70, of Springfield, formerly of Hillsboro, died on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020, at 3:30 p.m. at his residence.
Cremation rites were accorded and no services are planned at this time. Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro is assisting the family.
Mr. Durbin was born Oct. 18, 1949, in Hillsboro, to Murel and Irene (Lipe) Durbin.
He graduated from Hillsboro High School and served in the Army Reserves.
During his career, Mr. Durbin worked at Laclede Steel in Alton and Goodwill in Springfield.
He loved to help people.
Mr. Durbin is survived by his brothers and sisters, Gary (wife Sherry) Durbin of Burnsville, NC, Barkley Durbin of Springfield, Brenda (husband Robb) Schwartz of Hillsboro and Cathy (Shawn) Cady of Witt.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, John Durbin.
