Kenneth E. Wannamaker, 65, of Staunton, died Saturday, May 18, 2019, at his residence.

The family will have a Celebration of Life at their home in Staunton at a later date. Dauderman Mortuary in Hamel is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Wannamaker was born Oct. 30, 1953, in McDonald, PA, the son of Edwin and Dorothy (Swank) Wannamaker. He married Joann M. Cartwright on Sept. 29, 2017, and she survives.

After high school graduation, he joined the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. When he returned home, he started driving an over-the-road truck, and he retired after 40 years.

He was a jack-of-all-trades and loved helping people with projects, whether it was mechanical or building things. He attended Immanuel United Church of Christ in Hamel.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by stepsons, Gary L. (Jessica) Otto of Litchfield, Charles R. (Dana) Otto of Staunton and Edward E. Otto (significant other Mary Potts of Vandalia; sisters, Deborah J. Wannamaker, Donna M. Wannamaker and Barbara L. Wannamaker; brothers, Mark A. Wannamaker and Douglas E. Wannamaker; and close friend, Joseph Palumbo of Fort Lauderdale, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
