Kenneth L. Brown, 85, of Coffeen, died on Friday, Jan. 10, 2020, at 12:50 a.m. at his residence in Coffeen.

Family and friends may gather at 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14, at Toberman-Dean Funeral Home in Coffeen. A graveside service will follow, at 11 a.m. at Glendale Cemetery in Fillmore, with Pastor Danny White, of Coffeen, officiating.

Mr. Brown was born on Jan. 25, 1934 in Fillmore, the son of Audra (Brown) Toberman and step-father Lewey Toberman. He married Janet Howard, they later divorced. He then married Donna Clark, they later divorced. On Dec. 31, 1988, he married Jean (Chumley) Brown, she survives in Coffeen. 

Mr. Brown was a retired farmer. He also worked as a milk hauler, telephone lineman and in construction. Mr. Brown was a member of the Coffeen Lions Club, Beef Producers Association and Montgomery County Farm Bureau. He was known for his quick wit and sense of humor by his family and friends.

Mr. Brown is survived by his children, Debra (Brown) Drobnack, Karen (Jeff) Woods, Lee Brown and Crystal (Mike) Rivali; seven grandchildren, Nickolas and Cameron Rivali, Whitney and Sarah Drobnack, Dylan and Skylar Woods, and Lillie Brown; and one great-grandchild.
