Kent Robert Rovey, 38, of Farmersville, died on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 6, 2020, at his residence.
Visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 11, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Girard. Per CDC guidelines, masks will be required. A private family funeral service will be conducted Saturday, Sept. 12, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Rovey Cemetery in Farmersville.
Mr. Rovey was born April 13, 1982, in Springfield, to Robert L. and Margaret (Watson) Rovey.
He attended Lincolnwood High School in Raymond, Vatterott College, and was a graduate of Midwest Technical Institute in Springfield.
Mr. Rovey was self employed, and enjoyed St. Louis Cardinals baseball, fishing, landscaping and welding.
He is survived by his parents of Farmersville; children, Kenden, Kolton, Kaiya and Aleigha; brother, Kevin (Gretchen) Rovey of Farmersville; three nephews, Korbin, Grayson and Easton; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mr. Rovey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vernon and Doris Rovey and Marion and Suzanne Watson; uncles, Rollie Pope and Joe Watson; and aunt, Mary Hobson.
