Kevin Daniel Petroline, 32, of Hillsboro, died on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020, at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
Private Funeral Mass will be held Friday, Dec. 4, at St. John Paul II Catholic Church in Mt. Olive with Father Thomas Hagstrom officiating. Becker and Son Funeral Home in Mt. Olive is assisting the family.
Mr. Petroline was born Dec. 11, 1987, to Robert Philip and Lori Lyn (Thimsen) Petroline.
He graduated from Staunton High School with the class of 2006 and went on to work in the packing department at Sierra in Litchfield.
Mr. Petroline enjoyed fishing, demolition derby, farming, hunting, animals, especially pigs and dogs, and the weather. He was a member of St. John Paul II Catholic Church in Mt. Olive.
He is survived by his parents of Staunton; fiancee, Hollie Cassens of Hillsboro; two brothers, Dustin (Amber) Petroline of Litchfield and Brendin (Celia) Petroline of Highland; niece, Makenna Petroline of Litchfield; nephew, Evan Petroline of Litchfield; and grandfather, Charles Petroline of Staunton.
Mr. Petroline was preceded in death by his grandparents, Phyllis Petroline and Richard and Janice Thimsen.
