Kevin L. Cearlock, 61, died Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at his residence.
Per Mr. Cearlock’s wishes cremation rites were accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis is in charge of arrangements and is assisting the family.
Mr. Cearlock was born March 18, 1964, in Hillsboro, the son of Donald and Ruby (Breckel) Cearlock. He worked at the Kroger Store in Nokomis as the head dairy clerk for 31 years. He was a proud union member and enjoyed fishing and camping at Hillsboro, Pana and Shelbyville lakes.
Mr. Cearlock is survived by a son, Steven (Shelby) Cearlock of Raymond; two grandsons, Elijah and Cayden Cearlock; brother, Rick (Debbie) Cearlock of Coalton; nephews, David Cearlock and Tyler (Alyssa) Cearlock and niece, Vanessa Cearlock.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Ann Cearlock.
