Kevin Vaughn Burdell, 45, of Springfield, died Sunday, March 15, 2020, at 9:51 p.m.
Funeral services will be announced at a later date. Plummer Funeral Services in Litchfield is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Burdell was born Aug. 4, 1974, a son of Mark Alan and Linda Kay (Smith) Burdell. He married Stephanie Diane Weiss on July 24, 1999, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Litchfield, and she survives.
A 1992 graduate of Hillsboro High School, he went on to SIU-Edwardsville and Robert Morris College in Springfield, where he obtained an associate’s degree. He was a salesman with Rush Truck Center in Springfield for 23 years.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Richard (Pam) Weiss of Litchfield; daughter, Hannah Burdell (fiance Kyle Torry) of Chatham; two brothers, David (Tara) Burdell of Chatham and Joshua (Aimee) Burdell of Litchfield; sister, Shannon (Charles) Diveley of Litchfield; and several nieces and nephews.
