The three senior members of the Lincolnwood girls golf team all earned all-conference accolades at the MSM Conference Tournament on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at the Edgewood Golf Club in Auburn.
Dorie Krager, Micah Gehlbach and Jordyn Gerlach finished second, third and fifth respectively as the Lady Lancers finished second to South County by 12 strokes.
Krager, Lincolnwood's most consistent player this year, shot a 114 on the day to finish second to medalist Callie Hughes, who shot a 103 for South County.
Teammate Micah Gehlbach would be close behind in third with a 115, shooting the best front nine of the day with a 49.
Two strokes behind Gehlbach was Jordyn Gerlach, who was consistent with rounds of 59 on the front nine and 58 on the back nine for a 117 for the round.
Junior Marisa Webb would contribute the other scoring round as she finished with a 124 for the tournament.
In addition to the four scorers, Shelby Hattenbach and Jhia Walker also played for Lincolnwood. Hattenbach shot a 136 on the day, while Walker carded a 127. Walker’s round was highlighted by a birdie on the par-3 eighth hole, one of just two birdies on the day.
The Lady Lancers will be back in action tonight, Sept. 10, as they host PORTA, Auburn and Taylorville at Shoal Creek Golf Course in Raymond.
