Kyle Gundlach, 53, of Butler, died Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at 3:25 a.m. at his residence after battling cancer.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 27, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Butler Community Center in Butler.
Mr. Gundlach was born March 14, 1966, in Staunton, a son of Charles F. and Barbara G. (Moore) Gundlach, and they preceded him in death.
He is survived by two children, Kyle Gundlach II and wife Shannon of Alton and Samantha Gundlach and companion Andrew Budde of Bethalto; stepchildren, Jolene Dixon of Belleville, Josiah Malachi and Niya Ross of South Roxana; brother, Donald Gundlach of Butler; sisters, Melanie Roberts of Butler, Holly Gundlach of Sorento and Cynthia Gundlach Hussain of Glen Carbon; and four grandchildren, Skylar, Bailey and Jackson of Bethalto and Kyle Gundlach III of Alton.
