Larry Alan Morrow, 80, of Staunton, died early in the morning on June 6, 2026, at home in Staunton.
Funeral service for Mr. Morrow will be Wednesday, June 10, at 11 a.m. at the Hough Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be at the Donnellson Cemetery in Donnellson with Military Honors.
Mr. Morrow was born on April 23, 1946, in Hillsboro, to John A. and Lorraine A. (Locke) Morrow. He married Betty Jean (Price) on October 16, 2007, in Hillsboro.
Mr. Morrow was a graduate of Hillsboro High School class of 1966 and after graduation he went to Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, OK. For years he was employed by Shell Refinery in Wood River. Mr. Morrow proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam war.
Mr. Morrow is survived by his wife, Betty Jean (Price); sister, Ruth (Larry) Loveless of Gillespie; sons, Jayden Morrow of Staunton and Kevin Morrow of Benld; daughters, Dawn Skorzeski of Washington and Lisa Morrow of Godfrey; five stepchildren and numerous grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother in infancy; sister, Susan Kay Morrow; and brother, Gary Morrow.
The family suggests memorials in honor of Mr. Morrow be made to an animal shelter of your choice. Hough-Dean is assisting the family.
