Larry L. Beaman, 84, of Claremore, OK, died on Oct. 13, 2021.

A memorial service was held on Wednesday, Oct. 20, at Claremore First Baptist Church in Claremore, OK.

Mr. Beaman was born on July 12, 1937, in Morrisonville, to Samuel T. and Nadine Mae Beaman (Barker). He married Marilynn L. Beaman (Mahony); they were married for 65 years.

Mr. Beaman attended the Grand Rapids School of Bible and Music, and retired from ITT Continental Baking (Wonder Bread) after 15 years. The Beamans owned and operated Northern Life Camp, a fly-in fishing and hunting resort in Fort Francis, Ontario, Canada for ten years. Mr. Beaman relocated to Claremore then retired as sales manager of Advanced Warnings, Inc. in Muskogee, OK, after 15 years. He was a devoted member of Claremore First Baptist Church, where he was a deacon, taught the fifth grade Sunday school, was involved with Disaster Relief, Awanas and headed the men’s ministry annual fishing trip. He was an avid fisherman and dedicated St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Mr. Beaman is survived by his wife; daughter, Deborah L. Cox (Beaman) of LaGrange, OH; daughter-in-law, Gina Beaman (Compton) of Branson, MO; grandchildren, Tara Lynn Collins (husband, Anthony), Daniel Beaman, Ryne Beaman (wife, Cassandra), Brittany Bruce (husband, William), Courtney Nelson (husband, Jesse), Tracey Boggs (husband, Lonnee) and Christopher Cox (wife, Carrie); great-grandchildren, Amanda, Nicole, Madilynn, Zachary, Nevaeh, Jenna, Jackson, Makenzie, Lincoln, Norah and Calin; great-great grandchildren, Emily, Joseph and Thomas; siblings, Roy Beaman (wife, Sue), Harold Beaman (wife, Judy), Robert Beaman (wife, Martha), Ben Beaman (wife, Linda),  Marjorie O’Halleran (husband, Dan) and Grace Eskridge (husband, Johnny); and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Anita, Hazel and Mary; son, Daniel L. Beaman; and son-in-law, David R. Cox.

The family suggests memorials to Claremore First Baptist Disaster Relief.
